I have been a realtor for 8 years and now proudly hang my license with Merrill Thomas Real Estate located in Lake Placid, NY and with Better Homes & Garden Green Team in Warwick, NY.
Adirondack Outpost, LLC has been in business for over 3 years now. I now know what people expect when looking for a home, rental or investment property and is one of the reasons I decided to start this business. The other reason is my love of the Adirondacks!
I have also worked in healthcare for the past 22 years. I run this business with the help of my amazing husband John who has been coming to the Adirondacks every summer since he was 3 years old. He is the reason I fell in love with the Adirondacks. He took me on my first camping trip when we started dating at Little Green Pond. It was magical and life changing to say the least and I have been hooked ever since. He has a background in construction, insulation and business management. We own an “off grid” cabin in New Russia. We love having friends and family come stay with us. We have hiked many of the high peaks. I am an aspiring 46er and we enjoy many other sports that the area offers including fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, snowmobiling and skiing.
There is really so much beauty here anytime of year!
We have come to know and love several of the businesses in the region. I go to Lake Placid every year for my birthday as it one of my favorite places on earth. I proposed to John at The Lake placid Lodge on Lake Placid! It was featured in theknot.com and was photographed by local adventurous elopement photographers, The Pinckards. We have 2 dogs that love traveling with us “Dacks” a black Labrador Retriever who refuses to retrieve (short for Adirondacks in case you didn’t already guess that), and Trigger, a chihuahua, the toothless one-eyed wonder! Most businesses in the region are pet friendly and Adirondack Outpost is, too!
My goal is to give vacation rental owners peace of mind in knowing that their rental is in capable hands to handle the tasks that rental owners encounter. I am passionate about giving their guests a vacation experience and level of comfort that they won’t forget so they will want to continue to vacation with our owners for years to come. We want our owners to be recognized as “super hosts” and promote their rentals on our website and social media pages to maximize exposure.
The Adirondacks is a special place for us and that’s why we wanted to start this business and give vacation rental owners here, time for the more important things in life and take the stress out of caring for them on their own. We want to offer our support for caring and prepping your rental for events, guests, or personal enjoyment.
